Christian Sweet started swinging a hammer alongside his grandfather and his father at the very start of his formative years. He learned all the foundations of carpentry from two generations of wisdom and skill. Setting a momentum, he applied these carpentry skills to the growing need for vinyl siding in construction. After becoming VSI certified and working many years in the industry, Chris became inspired to pursue a career path as a contractor. To achieve this, he went through years of extensive specialty and safety training. Through hard work and perseverance, Chris eagerly became the proud President of Vinyl Concepts Incorporated which is now a trusted and respected name among his trade. He started Vinyl Concepts anticipating an emerging trend of vinyl siding materials replacing wood building products as a more cost effective solution for new construction and remodeling projects. Unlike other remodeling companies, Chris wanted to specialize in one thing and one thing only, vinyl siding, and be the best in the industry. Every day he is up on his scaffolding alongside his trusted, skilled crew plugging away. His daily presence is reassuring to customer homeowners and commercial developers. For the past decade, he made many solid relationships with local esteemed distributers and builders. Christian erected his company about eleven years ago, and watched it become what’s been whispered to be Rhode Island’s best kept secret.
