I have to start by saying that we have never had such a positive experience with any service provider. Finally, there is a company that takes pride in the products and services that they provide. We decided to get siding on our home and we received 2 quotes from 2 of the large "home improvement" companies in RI. One of these quotes was well over double the amount we paid to Vinyl Concepts and the sales person from that other company spent 5, yes 5 hours at my home trying to force us to sign a contract that night. They treated us like they were doing us a favor by having us pay them to do the job. We were discouraged and asked a friend, who also is a service provider, who they would recommend. They recommended Christian Sweet so we met with Chris. There was no sales pitch. We knew instantly that we could trust our home with Chris and his company. He was completely honest with us regarding the dates and costs and he did all he could to accommodate our needs. He also gave us great ideas and advice to benefit our home while keeping the cost lower....the complete opposite of other companies. Awesome customer service! While Chris is the owner of Vinyl Concepts, he also was overseeing and doing the work on our home with his team. He and the other two gentlemen working on our home would arrive before 7am each day and worked ALL day long...nonstop! They were meticulous in the work they did and in the cleanup after. Our project was complete literally days before Hurricane Irene and our siding and our new bay window....all performed as it should! No casualties!
We first scheduled the date to start our improvements and then siding was delivered to our home. We noticed that the color was incorrect and called Chris. Chris got it resolved immediately and the correct siding was at our house on that same scheduled date so there was no delay. The whole process was seamless to us. Any questions and concerns we had, Chris took complete ownership of and answered/resolved them immediately. Because we live in a moist area, near a brook, there were window sills on our home that the wood was like mush. Chris and his team reinforced the wood before they put on the siding. They cut no corners. They even relocated 2 gutter downspouts because they found they were not in a spot for proper drainage for the house. They literally treated our house as they would their own. I actually walked in to find one of the men on his hands and knees picking up literally every piece of dirt, off my floor. These guys have amazing work ethic.
I truly can't say enough about Vinyl Concepts. Not only did they perform the services they contracted to do at the price they promised and in the time frame they promised, they did it while showing respect to my home and my family.

Vinyl Concepts is a good company that does excellent work. Under the direction of CEO, Chris Sweet, the company recently carried out a project for the Harbourview Homeowners Association with efficiency and thoroughness. The Association had contracted with Vinyl Concepts to have the old siding removed and new siding installed. The original estimate offered by the company was better and more comprehensive than competing estimates. All the work in the original contract was carried out very well. When additional tasks were discovered, Mr. Sweet informed the Association of the problems and gave us the opportunity to decide whether to add the cost to the original project or to proceed without addressing them. The Association decided to go ahead with these additional tasks. The costs were very reasonable and the work became an important part of the excellent job accomplished. With the new siding, the Building looks better than it has looked in years!
The workers were pleasant and cooperative with all the tenants. They were easy to approach with questions and suggestions. At the end of each day’s work, the grounds were neat and clean. They contributed significantly to keeping what can be a noisy and irritating project to a minimum of unpleasantness. Mr. Sweet, who often worked alongside his workers, was very communicative and always available at the project in person or by cell phone. He is a good listener and offers clear and thorough explanations of tasks performed. We are very pleased with the job performed by Vinyl Concepts and grateful for the results of their hard work. I have used Vinyl Concepts and have found them to be professional, honest and excellent craftsman. The owner was always on site or only a phone call away when needed. They worked on my apartment complex and tenants complimented on clean and safe the work area was during the day and after work hours.
